Fantastic service (Sergei) and excellent food. We ordered and received the crab cake and ribeye steak entrees. Crab cakes were very tasty, steak was ordered medium rare and arrived as ordered with great tasting spice. Salads were fresh and had great dressing. Will visit again, great to see a non-chain restaurant be successful in this section of town.

Ate there for my anniversary. Good was overpriced and undercooked. Grouper was very fishy tasting. I noticed a roach in my bathroom stall. I had heard good things, but we were very disappointed. Will not go back.

Excellent prime rib although on the thin side Service was excellent Waitress was very knowledgeable Very disappointed in New York cheesecake it was very old, no flavor and was served warm Recommend owners check out dessert freshness and storage and taste them before offering them to customers! Very disappointing, would dine here again but won't have dessert!

Well this was like an old school supper club. My meal was okay-lobster tail and captese salad. Lobster was a little overcooked. My husband ordered the "special"-filet mignon with crabmeat asparagus and bernaise sauce with au gratin potatoes. SALTY SALTY SALTY. They gave him the seasoned rice to replace the potato but it was SALTY too! The funny thing was that the special was $8 more than the exact same dish on the regular menu. Must've been that $8 worth of salt.

This place is geared for a mellow and great dining experience. The place is sealed from sunlight and gives you a night time atmosphere. Everything is well lit, no problems reading menu. Live music is nice, easy listening and doesn't interfere with normal conversation. Arrived early and had martinis in bar while waiting for our reservation. Thursday happy hour with a variety of 5 dollar martinis was great. House gin dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives was great. Seated immediately at reservation time, their she crab soup is a specialty. When you see she crab soup on the menu, that can run quite a gamut; everything from a veggie broth like Maryland style she crab or a wide array of cream based soups. The cream based she crab soups run between a bisque and a New England chowder. Martini leans towards a New England chowder with bits of potato. I prefer she crab that leans towards a bisque, but that said, this was really good and I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Anyone who says that she crab is too rich for them, they should try this. We ordered the prime rib which was aged and excellent. We had a young Kentucky gentleman serving us named Josh and he couldn't have been nicer or more attentive. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hostess who seated us actually came by later and asked if everything was OK. That struck me as unusual, I never see the hostess after we are seated at other places. Best dining experience we had at our week at the beach.

Ate again for the third time in as many weeks...really....not very good....but we had to burn a restaurant.com coupon... Buser kid was ON IT ! one of the best and hardest working bussers and water fillers I have seen. He was fast without being hurried...re-filled out water glasses as they emptied.....not irritatingly every 3 seconds...nor waiting till we were parched. He replaced missing cutlery the server forgot...he noticed...went and fetched salad dressing the server forgot. He should be promoted ! Server was exceedingly friendly....but...unbelievable slow....took forever to get drinks and wine. Red wine made by the owners sister was very good...very fruit forward...but with too much alcohol in the front....i recommend the wine...but order early and allow to breathe...much improved. Apps....jumbo shrimp were awful, obviously previously frozen...or cooked much earlier...."homemade" cocktail sauce was stupidly served in a little ramekin that did not allow you to actually dunk the shrimp...presentation was applebees quality. The shrimp ($11) were just totally unacceptable...much better quality pre-cooked and frozen from sams or kroger....its simple...pre cooked shrimp should be "crisped" in cold water with ice in the fridge before serving...these were dry and just yucky. C'mon on....shrimp should be fresh at the beach. Mussels Fra Diavalo...misspelled Fra Diablo (or maybe I am wrong)...which means brother of the devil...was excellent...the sauce was boldly spiced...mussels were quite good..although not many of them. Entrees....really were sub par. I had the bone in rib eye which was fatty and just not very flavorful...with some lowrey like seasoning on it that was awful. Twice bake potato was tired....not warmed through properly...and dry...obviously pre made...much earlier..and not properly stored or re-heated. Grilled asparagus were WAY over salted...to the point of being inedible. Dining partner had a lamb chop dish...which were not properly trimmed...too much fat...and the bones were not properly frenched..and were burned in the cooking process....even most home cooks know to cover the bones with foil to protect them from burning...which delivers an unpleasant "burnt" odor to the dish. Dining partner #2 had a two fish special that was properly cooked....but the sauce was too salty...the second one waaaay toooo sweet...it tasted like a gloopy low quality chutney fresh out of the jar....could not have been housemade...but..who knows ?? Otherwise a charming place...live music was nice....but after three recent visits..the food just does not cut it....quality has nose dived IMO since new owners took over...just seems that food costs are taking precedence over quality. However....lovely ladies at the next table thought their food was excellent...and..another couple we saw later at a karaoke bar liked their meals as well.

Fantastic service. Food was incredible. Entertainment was very talented and I enjoyed listening. Not to loud either. Just so that people understand, the current owners are new since February 2013. So the old poor reviews do not pertain.

Highly recommended! Food was delicious, service was wonderful, music lovely. We came on a Sunday evening, and there was a decent crowd an hour after we had first arrived at 6. They have early bird specials, but just know that the portions are smaller and they don't come with salads or bread. Might as well get the regular menu. But the food was very, very good. The waiter was incredibly helpful with choosing our wine bottle. We got a $40 bottle of wine for $20--they were getting rid of that kind. Not that price matters, but it was a good deal and the wine turned out to be wonderful. The only qualms is the carpet when you first enter smells musky and quite bad. Also, the hostess placed us in a corner where we felt rather cramped. When I asked her if we could move one seat over on the bench, she told me she had to check her reservations list (which was 1 foot away) and then said, "yes, that table is not reserved, you can go ahead and move there." Not sure why she had to check reservations, because the entire time we were there, the restaurant filled to 20% capacity, so OBVIOUSLY there weren't any reservations! AND--no one else sat in that particular area of the dining room. I think she was just huffy we wanted to move from our original, albeit, tight, space. Apart from that, our waiter (who happened to be married to the hostess) was wonderful, very kind and offered great suggestions and service. I would come back to Martini's (it's a toss up with Villa Tuscanna over which is the better restaurant, and they are really close to one another)...but Martini's might have a slight edge because the food was sooooo good!

This is definitely a hidden a hidden gem in the North Myrtle Beach area. Great service and food. We had the special of filet mignon with a crab cake. The filet was perfect. The crab cake was only average. I've had too many great crab cakes living in the Chesapeake Bay area to rate it any better. It came with a cream of seafood bisque that was fabulous. Nice piano bar playing in the background made for great atmosphere. To top it off we were able to use a restaurant.com certificate. We will go back!

The neighbors always raved about this restaurant, but we never had the occasion to try it out. Last night we did and we were very pleased. My wife and mother-in-law both had the filet mignon and shrimp special and I had the king's cut prime rib, which I can say was among the tenderest I have ever tasted. A lovely meal made even more special with the piano music in the background.

Went for dinner with my mother while on vacation. Food was overpriced for the quality, and the atmosphere was quite dark and dingy. Why on earth would you want to seal an entire place off from outside light, I will never understand. Our server, Matt, was pleasant and attentive, though not overbearing. We ordered sheet crab soup and friend green tomatoes as appetizers, and both were delicious! Their crab soup has apparently won awards, and for good reason. I had the lobster crepes, which were subpar. There was a delicious sauce, but only one piece of lobster amongst a plate of ricotta cheese. The mixed vegetables that came with the dish seemed out of place and were quite mushy. I ordered a caprese salad, which was OK, though not very flavorful. My mother ordered a house salad, which wasn't anything special either. My mother had the seafood pomodoro, minus the muscles. It arrived in a watery, flavorless broth, with three shrimp and five miniature scallops. Certainly not worth the ~$23 price tag, and nothing to write home about. My cocktail was decent--a raspberry peach martini of some sort, but it's sad when that's the best part of a $90 meal...

I think they have changed chefs recently, went for my brothers birthday, 7 people, everyone loved their dish. I had steak and lobster. Steak was perfectly cooked, and lobster was too, it tasted fresh and was not overdone like most tails. My husband's soup was very good. The del Mar was great. Everyone was happy, service was professional and timely. Overall great place.

This restaurant was a real find! Get the meatballs marinara for an appetizer, one of the best marinara sauces I have ever had. The meatballs were so good I was enticed into ordering the linguini and meatballs. She-crab soup was sublime. Sourdough bread! Crab crusted grouper, seafood newburgh, and crab cakes also excellent. Four berry dessert served warm with a flaky crust! Yum. Quiet and friendly ambience, live music. Will definitely go here again. New favorite place in Myrtle Beach.

This is a hidden gem...I'm pretty sure that's why no one has reviewed it previously; they don't want anyone to know! Martini's is what I would call a "locals restaurant". I haven't seen many out of towners the several times I've been. The food is fantastic. It's truly "continental dining" at it's finest. Many fish, beef, chicken and lamb (my personal recommendation) entrees. They always seem to have great specials (appetizers included). The wine list is good, but not the best I have seen. I would expect to see something more extensive with the pricing as it is. They are known for their martinis; which have their own menu. Service is great. Very attentive and helpful suggestions provided. Aside from the food, the restaurant also has a piano bar area, which I have not experienced, but it looks to be great music by local pianists as well as a lively atmosphere. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special evening with their significant other, but be prepared to pay.
